About Me

Blowing my Trumpet

Hi, everyone. No this post is not related to embedded systems. It is about me. It is obvious to have a question like "why should I follow this guy's post". So in order to answer to your question I am making this post to give my brief introduction.
You can view my basic profile on the right panel of the blog. Apart from that "I love embedded systems" and doing my masters in it. I am a foodie too. I love to visit places so sometimes you may also get some travel blogs in my page. But mostly it will be confined to embedded systems. Since it is my first time in blogging please do comment and let me know what changes I can make.
Some projects that I have worked on previously are :
Controlling Windows mouse and PowerPoint using Microsoft Kinect.
8051 based GPS navigation systems.
Building a quadcopter.
Some of my interests are Linux, RC vehicles, Machine vision, Image and Signal processing, 3D printing and lots and lots of cool stuff.
Into the future
Let me give you a brief intro about my next project. It is a smart watch. As of now I have not yet decided on the features but yes it will definitely have:
An ARM Cortex M4 MCU
A monochrome LCD
MPU6050 based IMU
A Real-Time-Clock
And obviously Bluetooth V4.0
I have already ordered the parts and will be starting on it as soon as I get them.
Will be updating you with some cool projects and tutorials soon. Till them keep making....

  1. Hey Sounak,
I went through your smart watch project using i2c and ds1307 chip. I followed your instructions, debugged your program on my launchpad, the same you are using. But I can't get any output value and the value on the debug window also remains stuck at 0. Can you help?
